Bug Fixes

  • ELL-1312/LAB-1352 - Can't save Lot number. 35 character limit.

  • ELL-1314/LAB-1354 - Lot Summary not showing Expiration date w/o Open Exp. date

Steps for Validation

ELL-1312/LAB-1352 - Can't save lot number

  1. Menu Button>Admin>Instruments tab>Select instrument type with a Kit control/reagent.

  2. Edit Kit

  3. Enter a Name for the Kit Name, or a Secondary Name that is > 35 characters and Save.

  4. Scroll to the bottom and select Finish.

  5. Menu>Instruments>Select the Instrument Tile and enter a lot number that contains >35 characters for the Control/Reagent Kit. Lot number will Save and Validation is successful.

    Note: The new limit is 255 characters.

ELL-1314/LAB-1354 - Lot Summary not Showing Expiration Date without an Open Expiration Date

  1. Menu Button>Instruments>Select Instrument tile that has a Control/Reagent

  2. Enter a lot number and expiration date. Do not enter an open expiration date. (If a lot number meeting this requirement exists, a new lot number isn't needed.)

  3. Complete a task using the lot number or verity a task has already been completed using the lot number.

  4. Menu>Reports>Maintenance Logs>Select the instrument and select Apply. The lot number and expiration date will display on the lot summary.
