1. Open the task that needs to be logged.

2. Enter the failed result.

3. Enter the required comment.

4. Select "Mark as Complete".

5. When a failure is logged, two lines will populate on the bottom of the Calendar View for that instrument. "Failures" and "Status Changes". Click on the "1" in the "Failures" line for details of the logged task. (Note: Failures are not included in the task completion box. Notice that is still an empty gray box for that day.)

6. Click on the "1" in the "Status Changes" line to see the status of the instrument has changed from "Online" to "Unresolved Issue". The status will remain unresolved until the task has a passing result.

7. To log a previously failed result with a result that now passes, open the task that needs to be re-run.

8. Enter the passing result.

9. Select "Mark as Complete".

10. Once the passing result has been logged you will see a black checkmark for the task box.

11. "Status Changes" now has a "2". Click on the "2" to see the instrument status is now at "Online".
