🧪 Release Summary – Version 1.65.13

This release delivers the Angular 10 and 11 frontend upgrade which improves system stability, performance, and long-term maintainability. The user will notice a "face lift" in the system that presents significant visual changes. However, the functionality remains the same. It also includes various bug fixes and new features.

🔧 Platform and Technical Improvements

  • Full upgrade to Angular 11


✨ User-Facing Improvements

  • Display the Client ID and Site ID

    • Enhances user and support communications when referencing specific account details

  • Separate Instrument types into "with" and "without" instruments categories.

    • Enhances adding instrument types workflow

  • Display Instrument type and Instrument totals

  • Site limit introduced to the system

    • Supports "site licence" service agreement.

  • Standard User Plus role

    • A user access role between the standard user and the admin permission sets.

🐛 Support Bugs

  • Various bug fixes were applied and affected clients were notified of the solution.

🔍 Validation

  1. Client ID and Site ID

    1. Client ID can be found in the menu bar under the user's name.
      ​

    2. Site ID - Admin>Site Tab
      ​

  2. Instrument type Categories and totals

    1. Admin>Instruments Tab

    2. 2 categories are displayed. Click either to expand or close.

    3. Totals for each are displayed.
      ​

  3. Site Limit

    1. Admin>Sites Tab

    2. Site limit, active sites, and remaining sites are displayed.
      ​

  4. Standard User Plus Role

    1. This user type has all the permissions of the Standard User "Plus"

      1. Edit site days of operation for the site. (Admin>Site tab)

      2. Add/Edit an Instrument. (Admin>Instruments tab)

        1. This role cannot Add/Edit the Instrument Type

      3. Add/Edit/Disable a Standard or Standard Plus user (Admin>Users tab)

        1. This role cannot Add/Edit an Admin User

    2. To validate this user role, assign a user to this role. Login as the Standard Plus user.

    3. Refer to help.lablogs.co for step by step guides to perform each of the above mentioned functions.

*Release date = the date a version was released into the Production environment. Each Lab Logs environment will display the release date as the date the version was deployed into that environment.
